Charice will sing the Philippine National Anthem for Pacquiao-Mosley fight.

Charice Pempengco has extend her gratitude to the eight division world champion Manny Pacquaio for choosing her to sing the Philippine national anthem at his upcoming May 7 fight with Shane Mosley at the MGM Grand.

"Thank you Sir Manny Pacquiao for choosing me to sing the Philippine Nat'l Anthem for your fight. Feel really blessed :) This is the message that Charice has posted in her twitter account.

Charice is very excited to sing the Philippine anthem Koncz said.

Pacquiao will knock out Mosley! : Freddie Roach

After spending time in England where he assisted the fight of Amir Khan against Paul McCloskey,where Khan wins through a unanimous decision. The five time trainer of the year returned to the Wild Card Gym to continue the training for the eight division champion Manny Pacquaio.

Roach has stated that the training was right on track. He also said that they are training without rest and that the Pacman is so hungry for the mitts that they have done a 14 round work-out.Adding that Manny is weighing 151 pounds now.

Roach also is looking forward to Manny stopping the legendary Shane Mosley. He knows that Mosley has never been stop in his fight before and he is aiming that Manny Pacquaio will the be first person to knock-out Mosley, that is why he is urging the pacman to fight at a much faster pace.

Underdog May Win

Last week a fight between Juan Manuel Lopez and Orlanod Salido had an unexpected results. Lopez who had a very clean record and is undefeated was primed for a very exciting fight against Yuri Gamboa in the featherweight division.

Orlando Salido was hired to keep Lopez busy for a moment. Salido who has 11 losses in his career was not the favorite for this fight, but the boxers fan had been surprised when Salido gave a hand right wallop in the fifth round making Lopez a little dizzy and he finished the job on the eighth round.

This recent upset bug in the boxing world should give Mosley an inspiration for his fight against Pacquiao. He knows that he is the underdog in this fight, with only a few percent of the people believing that he can beat Pacquiao. Mosley should console himself with this fact that Salido whom people think would not win actually defeated Lopez.

Shane Mosley has the power to hurt Pacquaio as well as the speed to connect with his punches. He should believe in himself.

It has been reported that Manny Pacquiao almost knocked out Shawn Porter his sparring partner a rising boxing prospect in Wild Card Gym. We have witnessed how Manny fights and we have seen the damages Pacquiao has caused to his opponents.

Reports have shown that as early as now Manny has been in his best shape ever, he said that all systems are on the go. His coach Freddie Roach will be leaving for UK to be with Amir Khan but Roach did left some instruction written on a sheet of paper for Alex Ariza to follow. It is indeed very visible that Roach has a very strict instruction on what to do in his absence.

Manny Pacquiao is training hard but, this is also what Mosley is doing right now. It has been said that Mosley is an underdog, but people should not underestimate Mosley for it will be a big upset if he wins the upcoming May 7 fight. Pacquaio admitted that the three division champion will be one of his toughest opponent in his career but he added that he is always ready for any kind of fight.

Mosley had said before that he will knocked out Pacquiao in the oncoming May 7 fight but Manny will not let it happen. Even though Manny Pacquaio is convinced that Sugar Shane Mosley is not as slow as Margarito because he is a former champion he is also confident that He will not be knocked out as what Mosley predicted.

The Filipino champion says that his training is going on according to what is planned and that they are focusing on speed and head movement.
